About AIIMS Ph.D.
An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. By virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions. The degrees awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.
AIIMS Ph.D. Entrance Exam Counselling 2023 Procedure
Candidates are only eligible to participate in counseling if they pass the examination. The eligible candidates must sign up for the PG online counseling/seat allocation portal themselves. Candidates can select seats (a combination of AIIMS and subject/specialty) and arrange them in the desired order through the PG online counseling/seat allocation portal. Depending on the choices a candidate makes, the seats allotted in the mock round represent the likely seats allotted to that candidate.
After giving candidates a chance to edit or reorder their choices from the mock round, the allocation of seats for the first round can be made. Seats are given to candidates base on merit, fill choices, category, and seat availability. Unless they explicitly refuse (Active Refusal), all candidates will be assume to have accept the seat that has been allocate to them. By the specified date and time, all candidates who are granted a seat and have not actively rejected it through the online portal will be required to deposit all original certificates and Demand Drafts in the appropriate AIIMS Ph.D. Entrance Exam Counselling 2023. Candidates are require to bring additional original documents and one photocopy of their registration slip on the day of counseling.

AIIMS Ph.D. Entrance Exam Seat Allotment
After the merit list of candidates who were select is poste on the website, the counseling process takes place in several rounds. For the January session, the MD/MS (6-year program) counseling process will begin in 2023 with the INI CET exam.
The AIIMS PG counseling for DM/M.Ch (3 years) will also be held through the INI SS exam in 2023. Seats will be assigne to candidates base on the choices they made during the registration process for counseling. Additionally, students are require to submit their documents for the counseling verification process.

- Time Duration:Â Candidates will get 3 hours to solve the question paper.
- Marking scheme:Â Each correct answer will consists of 1 mark, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
