Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is all set to kick start his 2023 with Shehzada. The actor is currently busy with promoting the upcoming film, which also stars Kriti Sanon and Paresh Rawal, among others. Kartik recently revealed that he would like to experiment with every genre and not limit himself to just action. He credits Shehzada for giving him a great start in terms of giving him a platform to perform action sequences.

Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada’s trailer had garnered massive audience, since the time of its release. The trailer kick started with Kartik seen kicking, running around and beating goons. In an exclusive video interview with Bolllywood Hungama when Kartik Aaryan was asked if he was planning on shifting to action genre, he said, “I would like to. But not shift entirely. I would love to do romantic films and comedies also, not just action. But it is a great start, and this is something I have never done before. So, for me to start action sequences or do certain sequences; Shehzada is the best film to do that. So, it is a great start for me to do more and more action films after this.”
He further added, “Shehzada is more of a family entertainer and then of course the action comes in. There is a specific big reason why the action kicks in. So, I am just exploring lots and lots of genres, and this is one of them.”
Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Released in 2020, the movie starred Allu Arjun in the lead role along with Pooja Hegde, Nivetha Pethuraj and Sushanth Anumolu. The remake has been produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series.
Kartik was last seen in Freddy, starring alongside Alaya F. The film was premiered online in last December. He will also be seen this year in Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani. Shehzada is slated to release in theatres on February 17.
