Reports, last week, were abuzz with news about the ‘royal’ wedding of Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. After a dreamy wedding, the couple decided to celebrate their wedding in a grand manner in the maximum city by hosting a reception for the film fraternity at St. Regis in South Mumbai on Sunday, February 12. While the wedding saw only a few celebrities like Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla attend the ceremony, the reception was, in fact, a starry affair with many from the industry gracing the reception.

Just a few moments ago we had reported that Alia Bhatt had attended the reception. Although her husband Ranbir Kapoor was missing by her side, mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor attended the ceremony. And adding to it, her Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji too was a part of it.
On the other hand, Vidya Balan too was present at the ceremony who arrived hand-in-hand with producer-husband Siddharth Roy Kapur. While Kiara’s Kabir Singh co-star Shahid Kapoor attended the wedding ceremonies in Rajasthan, he is yet to make an entrance at the reception. Instead, his brother Ishaan Khatter came in, showcasing his love and support for the couple.
Readers would be aware that Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot at Suryagarh hotel, Jaisalmer in an intimate but lavish ceremony. After completing the pre-wedding and other festivities in Rajasthan, the couple took off to Delhi where they completed the post-wedding rituals at the Malhotra residence. The couple also hosted a small reception in the capital at the Leela Palace for their friends and relatives in the city before returning to Mumbai for the starry wedding celebration night.
